"We believe it is our duty to protect our native wildlife"

Free roaming cats affect other animals often far from their homes they share with their owners. Our records show that approx one third
of all native animal death was a direct result of a domestic cat. These include birds, lizards and small mammals.

To assist with this problem the Queensland Wildlife Hospital Inc. has decided to embark on a new endeavour installing cat netting.
Cat netting is a product that can be used to allow your cat to enjoy the outdoors but still be confined to a designated area.

The laws that relates to domestic cats vary from council to council, but in most cases the person who provides for that cat is responsible
for its welfare and control. Cat netting can also help in the reduction of unwanted reproduction.

If you wish to care for your cat and still protect our native wildlife, please consider installing Cat Netting.
